Actually, I wasn't sure. After a bit of digging, it seems that
members are associated with *one* posting setup - I assume after
going through the posting setup while logged in. I'm not sure if
that association is actually verified as part of the posting setup
or not - one of the people who do that would know (Larry? Todd? Is
there anyone else?).

Not sure I undestand the question, but what from I get of it, I think
Todd would have to answer.

The question is when you approve a posting setup (do you approve them?
I thought so?), do you see what member ID submitted it?

No. I have no idea if it was submitted by a member or just someone that wants to
be able to post, unless I recognise the name.

Do you verify that the email getting approved actually is one of the member?

Again, no.

If not,  then we shouldn't use that info for post cancels.

Not unless it's linked in better, it sounds like. Currently all we are doing to
allow posting is verifying that the email looks real and the name looks real
(and that they adhere to the spam blocking rules and the name rules, the true
fields have to be full name and non spamblocked, and the spamblocked email has
to be one that I can easily decode into a real, valid email that MATCHES the
true one... I am rather picky about being stupid about that and reject a lot
that people MIGHT be able to decode...)

Currently at least Todd, Frank and I have access to do this, but I think (am not
sure, no stats on this) I approve the bulk of these as they are always piled up
if I skip a day. I usually try to check every day, sometimes twice.

I have a favour to ask (again)

Can we have one new/revived suggestion per post please rather than 3
paragraphs that have to be read closely to realise that there are
actually 5 suggestions in there?

Is that to me?  Or to Frank?

To everyone, including you and Frank.

I think you might have a suggestion buried somewhere in the thread that
announced the list but I'm not sure... if you do, please repost it. (or them...)
