Yeah, I guess you're prolly right. I've gotten been spoiled by web-posting
interfaces that allow editing. But I guess to me a delete/repost is
practically the same as editing, even if not technically so.
So you guys are saying that a delete request via NNTP still gets
authenticated by a human before being processed? And if I'm using a
spoofed (anti-spammed) email addy, I won't be able to delete my post by
NNTP?

Second, there is more than one way to do deletions other than issuing (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-04, to lugnet.admin.nntp)
