(...) Yep, this was suggested elsewhere in the thread and it has a lot of merit. My preference would be for build.announce as that keeps the announce tree low traffic. (yes, you could view .announce without subgroups but then you miss (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Would having a link in the nntp headers to the groups charter (as a 'X-' line) be of any help? It'd allow you to go to any post and click on it and get the charter.
