Well this works with the groups that I could previously download old
messages from. However, I can not download messages from some groups,
trains, dear Lego, town, etc.

| Rose, I probably indirectly answered this on admin.nntp, so if you already tried this and it didn't work, please let me know... For each newsgroup that you can't download more headers: - right click on the group - select Properties - select Local (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.general)
