Yes, I agree a search box would be good, but not knowing how quickly the server searches, it might take just as long to have the search page load, you type in the name, select from a pull down menu the type of search (first name, last name, (...) (...) Doesn't the server do it because you have told it WRAP=HARD. I think I have always had this problem posting URLs from the Web interface even before you did your preview posting change. Todd - How much of an inconvenience would it be for you to put in some basic form of link parsing for the part of the news server that accepts posts? Todd, When I enter a message thru the web interface, then click preview, the raw text (in the edit window) comes back with hard line breaks at the end of each line. Why does this happen ?
