Quoting a post posted six months ago ....
Has a facility for cancelling posts via the web interface
been implemented? I wrote in this post that I go fire up
a newsreader when I want to cancel a post, but my NNTP
access has become so dicey that I no longer bother to try.
Thank you, Todd, for deleting a duplicate post of mine I
accidentally double-posted. I would have deleted it myself but
after wrestling with nntp timeouts for half an hour I gave
up. I suppose I should switch to a better news reader, but
I wish that post-deletion could be done from the web-interface,
as long as the proper authentication was checked (ie you had
to be "logged in" with your lugnet membership).

| (...) I wish there were a way to do this, as well, via the web interface. When I am motivated to cancel a post, I will go ahead and use outlook express or netscape to find the post via NNTP and issue a cancel, but NNTP access is painfully slow from (...)
