I don't know -- I'm not the one shipping the stuff. CafePress.com handles it
all and sets the rates. It sounds plausible, though.
Probably your best bet is to find a friend in the U.S. who could buy one and
resell it to you at cost plus shipping (IMHO, from my personal experiences
shipping things from the U.S. to Canada, it *should* only cost about $4-$5
(US$) to ship from California to Ottawa) or to find a friend or two in Canada
and split the shipping -- I think the main "hit" on shipping is on the order
and not per item.
BTW, is it telling you US$33.00 or CDN$33.00 ?
