OK, I split the JS code into two versions:  one for NN and the other for M$IE.

Is that getting closer?

I have not yet been able to make it work straight from the address line.  I
had to put it into an HTML document.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "straight from the address line," but
if you mean cutting & pasting it into the URL location edit box at the top of
the browser window, it's actually not meant to be pasted there.  It needs
either to be pasted into a bookmark-editing dialog box, or to be dragged as
a live hyperlink into the Links or Personal toolbar.

Yes, the news, set search, and partsref work straight from the links. The QuickSet search is trying to open 'ql.js' when I enter a set number. (...) Yep. The pause set search works, but quickset (the one I wanted the most :( ) isn't working. Still better, thanks! -Shiri (24 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
