| | | Hi Todd, Suz and everyone else, I have a suggestion for the web interface. I've noticed lately that some people are annoyed by threads that (In their opinion) don't fit in the group. I've also noticed that when I come to a large, active group (say (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.general)

| | | | | | (...) Yeah, but its a major pain when the threads jump groups. I used to read using Netscape Messenger, but it was too annoying, so I switched to the web interface. It's annoying when I switch between Linux and Win95 though, if my win partition wasn't drive-spaced then I'd try linking my linux history file, cookie file (...) I use my newsreader for the groups I follow in depth, but use the web to browse (one of my quick-link shortcuts is (URL) It'd be real nice to be able to add something like &exclue=group,lugnet...pic.debate or (...) | | | | | (...) It would be nice, but that functionality already exists in numerous newsreaders. In Forte's Agent software, I just press 'I' to ignore a thread, and I'm never bothered by it again.
