Oh, my!...Fabuland got lost in the shuffle somewhere.  OK, there's now a
Fabuland group:

   lugnet.fabuland  <==>  http://www.lugnet.com/fabuland/

I can't believe nobody noticed!  I *know* there are tons of Fabuland fans out
there!  :)

for making also a Fabuland group. I noticed that you didn't make any when the
rest of the themed groups were made, but as the theme was discontinued
already 10 years ago and there aren't many messages about it (1), I thought you
had left it out on purpose.

i had noticed the ommission too, but assumed it was because the theme had been
discontinued. i'm glad it's here now though.

No, it wasn't left out on purpose -- it was just an unfortunate oversight.
In fact, Fabuland was listed on this page long ago,

   http://www.lugnet.com/admin/plan/4.html

as a niche thematic-interest group likely to pop up...it's always been
something inevitable.

So --

Are there any other niche discussion groups/lists that may have accidentally
been overlooked that people aren't mentioning because it seems like it was
intentional not to include them?  I'd hate to see something badly neglected.

A few things that come to mind which might be now or soon reaching critical
mass are:

   * a minifig building/modification group
   * a Palm Pilot robotics development group/list
   * a Java/JVM RCX robotics development group/list

Are there others?
How strongly are these desired?

(...) Ahh, good idea -- there's been a /cad/ray/ category on the website for several months, and it's got 7 links (currently) -- (URL) things like L3G0, L2P, L3P, L3PAO, LGEO, POV-Ray, and Anton Raves's library...but there's never been an actual (...)
