Indeed. And post clues -VIA EMAIL- to the clueless, instead of embarassing them
in public? Or is this how you think children (so to speak) should be
disciplined?

<shrug> Had it been Todd, I would think that the reply would have been:
1. In email, where it belongs;
2. Done with some level of understanding that situations alter cases;
3. Done with civility, which you failed to do completely.
Point's over; what's done is done and the 'offender' has apologised. I note
with interest that you faild to jump on that fact as quickly as you did his
'transgression'. How telling.

| Ouch! IMO, this has got out of proportion. The initial transgression was (IMO) fairly minor, but anyway the debate is no longer about the issues, but a petty discussion of semantics. If we can't discuss this civilly then can we go back to talking (...) (25 years ago, 4-Nov-99, to lugnet.admin.general)
