I hope you will never disallow posting DAT content via NNTP.  I just
hate using a web interface, as the newsreader is much easier to use.

(...) No, there's no way to detect the difference without doing some extremely clever parsing/gymnastics on the text. DAT files in news articles are just plain text. (...) Maybe.
