I hope I didn't do a no-no by trying this out. The post went through and
contains the .dat file attachment, but doesn't show up the same as .dat files
posted via the web. I wouldn't pretend to know why.
Oooh, I just looked at this one via the web interface, and it doesn't look
good. I cancelled the message. Sorry for any inconvenience, Todd.

| (...) John, which newsreader do you use? I use Free Agent, and I solve the problem by having a separate instance of the program set up with the long line lengths needed for posting. So if I want to post a DAT, I just click on the posting shortcut, (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jun-99, to lugnet.admin.general)
