  New NG for TCLTC

Rene- I have been thinking-- if possible, I would like to have an newsgroup set up for the Twin Cities LEGO Train Club (TCLTC), if that is alright with you. I have been using MOCpages for our website, but now that Sean is allowing advertising, I (...) (18 years ago, 12-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

Re: New email address - how to?

(...) It is =not at all clear= that this is the page/form to use when a member wants to change his or her email and keep their old (current) membership humber/profile. (18 years ago, 11-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: New LUGMap for LUGNET

(...) Hi Rob, Groups for MSLTC and CARLUG are now closed, but still online for reference. I wrote a short last message there and to the sidebars. A new group ARLUG is created (you are the curator - congratulations :-) And the LUGMap is updated. (...) (18 years ago, 11-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: New LUGMap for LUGNET

(...) I've been meaning to make an official announcement, but I've been waiting on or web guy to finish moving everything over to the new site. Please be aware of the following changes in LEGO related clubs in the Arkansas, USA area: MSLTC (which (...) (18 years ago, 10-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: New LUGMap for LUGNET

(...) I'm also using FF 2.0 and it wasn't working last night and now seems to be working. It might be worth making it a little clearer when you click on the LUG pin though. I tested on Brazil (the only South American LUG) and didn't think it was (...) (18 years ago, 10-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: New LUGMap for LUGNET

(...) Yikes! You've made us (URL) Cheeseheads>!!!! :-) Thanks for the quick change, Rene! Now to bed! JOHN (18 years ago, 10-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

  Re: New LUGMap for LUGNET

(...) The STUDS group in Sydney is no longer active. The Sydney LEGO Train Club (SLTC) is meeting on a regular basis. -pete.w (18 years ago, 10-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

  Re: New LUGMap for LUGNET

(...) Now it's there, it doesn't point exactly to the Twin Cities, but I guess it's workable :-) -Rene (18 years ago, 10-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

  Re: New LUGMap for LUGNET

Hi Ross, (...) This was because <map id="mapname"> (I guess). Does it work now? Thanks, Rene (18 years ago, 10-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: New LUGMap for LUGNET

(...) Cool features, Rene! Thanks. And I'd like the (URL) Twin Cities LEGO® Train Club> added to the LTC section if you would. Our location is pretty much the same as the GMLTC on the map. JOHN (18 years ago, 10-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

  Re: New LUGMap for LUGNET

(...) Hi Rene, I'm not able to click on any map regions, or pins. I'm using Firefox 2.0. Not sure why it wouldn't recognise the MAP tag. Are you able to click the image in Firefox at all? All the links works fine though - it's looking great! FUT: (...) (18 years ago, 10-Nov-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

Re: Why is Lukas in headlines? (was Re: Bulleid Leader)

(...) Hi@all, seems that's a good point in time to let you know that I'm still alive... Well, currently, my work on LUGNET is put on ice, for approximately another 7 to 10 days. Together with two friends of mine, I'm working on a complete rebuild of (...) (18 years ago, 17-Oct-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Why is Lukas in headlines? (was Re: Bulleid Leader)

(...) The problem mostly is that Lugnet was based on an NNTP model, wherein you can't modify the content or group of a post. So, essentially, when a post is made, lots of stuff happens behind the covers. Lots of indexing and things which would need (...) (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

Re: Why is Lukas in headlines? (was Re: Bulleid Leader)

(...) Hmm, I see. I wasn't aware that it would involve going into the code. Some of the other forums (CSF, classic-castle) will regularly throw posts into different areas so I assumed the same should be true at Lugnet. I'm not overly (...) (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

Re: Why is Lukas in headlines? (was Re: Bulleid Leader)

(...) Er, that should read "aren't able to be manually removed", oops. DaveE (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

Re: Why is Lukas in headlines? (was Re: Bulleid Leader)

(...) Yes, that's true. The spotlight list is auto-generated, and posts are able to be manually removed from the list based on any criteria at the moment. It's definitely on the list to allow admins to remove specific posts. Other ideas suggested (...) (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

Re: Why is Lukas in headlines? (was Re: Bulleid Leader)

(...) I seem to recall some discussions that the admins don't have this power but I think it's underconsideration. Tim (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)
