I could put up a server with little difficulty, with a permanent IP.
I might not be able to leave it running 24/7, but I could probably run
it each night and all weekend, and if it has a dedicated mode like
Quake2 does (doubtful), I could probably leave it up 24/7.  Just
wouldn't be able to look at it all day.

'Course, I can't do this because I don't own a copy of Lego Loco.  If
there is enough interest (big IF) I might (even bigger might) be
persuaded to get my friend at Babbage's to get it for me at his
discount.

(...) Or, better yet, the community of people who want this, could buy you a copy - though you could still use your buddy's discount. I mean, if it's $30 and six folks want a server, even if you're only willing to guarantee that it's there for two (...) (25 years ago, 1-Apr-99, to lugnet.general)

There was a thread on r.t.l last week about hosting a multi-player session of Lego Loco. I would love to see this happen, but there are a few obstacles to overcome. Lego Loco requires that players joining a multiplayer session know the host's IP (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-99, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.general)
