Re: How do you guys do it?

(...) Welcome aboard, Dave! I don't have much to add to the wisdom already dispensed on this thread, but here are a few other suggestions to help you in your building (some of these may be repeats). 1. Start with a cool first name. (You seem already (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.build.military)

Re: How do you guys do it?

(...) Many great suggestions by others..... I do a lot of mutations. Start out with something, get and an idea on how to change it, change it. Try something else throw it out, try again.   Re: How do you guys do it?

(...) Experiment. Build. It sounds simple, and that's all the really is to it. What I find helps me is I keep a project list of some projects I'd like to work on. Some of them have came to be, others have just sat around in pieces. For example, I (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.build.ancient)

Erick: You may want to take a look at the LUGNET terms of use, in particular point 5 of the Discussion group terms ((URL) and decide for yourself if your advocacy of using Kazaa to obtain things (which you apparently acknowledged are illegally (...)   Re: How do you guys do it?

(...) How? Start building. You'll get better. That's not a flippant answer, it's the truth. Do as many of the following things as you can: - Build stuff "in the style of" official sets, perhaps working from their instructions to learn various idioms (...)   Re: password resets

It's extremely annoying isn't it? It's complete stupid NOT to have a web based process for this, and there seems no way to get any attention to this either.   How do you guys do it?

Ya know, I've been into Lego for a while myself. I haven't had the time or money I'd have liked to have for it over the last few years, but I do still love Lego. I've been coming to this site for a while now, and I just have one question for (...)   password resets

Is this still the place to ask for password resets? I've asked here three times in the past three months and still haven't heard anything.   Re: Search by Date

(...) Sort of. See the section on "Time-Sensitive Searches" here: (URL) syntax leaves a lot to be desired but it's there if you need to use it in a pinch. --Todd (21 years ago, 25-Dec-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Search by Date

Is there a way to search for posts based on the date posted? For example, if I wanted to search for posts around May 6th, 2002, could I? ~Kevin Blocksidge (21 years ago, 25-Dec-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: annoyingly repetitive test of whether posting works

Incorrect text on "Who owns this set" screen

When I view the list of who owns a set, the following text is above the list: "The above list is informational only. Do not contact people ..." Shouldn't this read "The list below is informational only. Do not contact people ..."? Regards ROSCO (21 years ago, 22-Dec-03, to lugnet.admin.general)
