Why should they!?!
I never said anybody should!
I jus said that I'd be grateful if they corrected the malady
thats all.

So it isnt like I'm submitting faulty text!
Somewhere down the line someone processes it, in Word
or another typing document and it comes back altered.
(Thats not my fault when this happens, after like, 34 posts
suddenly one individual cant access the characters!)
Oh, but its not just me
It happens lots of times to lots of others in diffrent threads
I can site references- but I'm goin off to dinner now

Your silly Larry. =)
I dont expect anything
And Its not my mess.
(Oh, like I should be held accountable for the few individuals
who use a program thats limited in its character recognition!)

I understand and respect your point
Its just that plain text is sooooo boring!
(Yes, I'm aware that its the content that counts.)
BUT,
A nicely formulated post with a few snazzy
characters can only enhance the overall letter IMHO.
Thanks for the reply,

P.S.

But characters are a matter of expression which personalizes the post.
How far should this normal character use be implemented?
Perhaps those who use ++ should also refrain from such frivolous use.
;)
(Cause anything normative is simply relative to an individuals perspective.
Perhaps there are those out there who disagree with any post that isn't
alphabetic... aka the giddy use of symbols: '++' )

You *know* you are making postings that show up bad for many readers, and yet you choose to continue to post that way. (...) Its called "standards". (...)
