They should have been there all along -- I just added them a couple days ago
when I noticed that they were missing, while coding the new spotlight headline
mode display listing.

No, they go to the same place -- just like a "Brief" display:
http://news.lugnet.com/admin/curators/?n=,-10&v=b
or an "All" (full message) display:
http://news.lugnet.com/admin/curators/?n=,-5&v=a
So in other words, they're not necessarily nodes in a tree, although that's
one use of them... They simply denote "a news article."

| Thanks for the clarification... (...) Well if they go to the same place, is having them there (when there's no tree structure for them to be involved in) just a decorative thing, or do you envision lists of things where some of the items in the list (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.admin.general)
