snipped due to some excess vulgarity

We’re only discussing creative anagrams here.
Anyway, Iian didn’t even create those…
He’s just reiterating what the “Internet Anagram Server” concluded.

+Plus, the site is just plain neat, he wasn’t trying to tote profanity.
He just inferred his experience upon a statement that I made…
and it was totally relevant in context!

*sorry, just couldn’t resist

So very tired of people who use ‘the welfare of innocent children’
as propaganda to limited others self-expression.

I am sorry Richard, but I think Tim is right in the way he asked Iain to
refrain from using that language. It is not like he went and asked for a
ban. He just let Iain know of the offensive nature of what was posted.
Perhaps it was something that would be better relayed via email, but alas
the post is there and now we all can learn.

So very tired of people who jump in ready to fight if someone attempts to
make LUGNET a better place.

well.....please don't consider my words "ready to fight" but...

I feel that there are certain instances where there has been a clear
violation of the TOS and it took a while for the violater to be
warned of the inappropriateness of the incidence, and other occasions
where certain individuals, not to mention any names, think they are
party to a bit of fun due to some people's expense in their newsgroup....
(well I admit I did a couple times on another's group, but when I realized the
error of my ways, some of the member's in that group threatened bodily harm
if I ever saw them....and nothing was said to them)...

so let us not point fingers....

Iain and Richard's comments were indeed vulger which could be construed as a
direct violation, but I think it wasn't so blatant that an underage person
would understand, and if they did, I am sure they hear worse from their
peers, from TV, from the movies, and from the music that they listen to.

I am not advocating what they said was appropriate...I already covered that...
but let us not go into witch-burning either...

so as Lar would say....let's hope this discussion is ended, and let's move
on to bigger and better things, and put this behind us....if you can't
then you are just as guilty for lugnet being the way it is....

Ben

of section 8, but the TOS is vague and indiscriptive
