I am sorry Richard, but I think Tim is right in the way he asked Iain to
refrain from using that language. It is not like he went and asked for a
ban. He just let Iain know of the offensive nature of what was posted.
Perhaps it was something that would be better relayed via email, but alas
the post is there and now we all can learn.

I feel that there are certain instances where there has been a clear violation of the TOS and it took a while for the violater to be warned of (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.admin.general)
