  Re: Fibblesnork

(...) Hi René, in english to let others understand what's going on... I don't understand what the design of the guide frontpage has to do with the fibblesnork guide. I don't think that the FG will be revisid itself as it's a stand-alone site for (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jun-07, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Getting Error on Lugnet Main Page

(...) It actually is the cause of the error, as the quotes are not correctly escaped by one of the scripts - I'd've fixed it already but I'm on a business trip currently. I think the workaround does the trick for now, and a permanent fix will be put (...) (17 years ago, 14-Jun-07, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: How much of LUGNET is indexed by Google?

Actually, with the old server I think a lot of LUGNET's pages were set to "NOINDEX" due to server load concerns. When René and I took over, we opened up basically everything including images for indexing by search engines, in the first couple of (...) (17 years ago, 14-Jun-07, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Getting Error on Lugnet Main Page

(...) Looks like there's a bug in the code that's generating the sidebar. As a temporary fix (until the underlying problem is repaired), I'm running an automatic "fixer" once a minute that should repair the autogenerated code. So, the problem may (...)   Re: Fibblesnork

(...) Hi! Apart from the actual script error on the frontpage, it seems to be revised now for months but I still do not find the Fibblesnork Guide. Have I missed another statement about this fantastic page? Bye Ronald (17 years ago, 13-Jun-07, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: How much of LUGNET is indexed by Google?

(...) All of it, I'd hope. (...) I think it's a good thing - Google's a great way of findnig information, and there's a lot of useful information in various posts on LUGNET. Why wouldn't we want it to be findable? Dan (17 years ago, 13-Jun-07, to lugnet.admin.general)

How much of LUGNET is indexed by Google?

How much of LUGNET is indexed by Google? I have recently been trying to find out how and where my name shows up on Google's search engine. I was surprised to LUGNET posts I had made showing up. Are individual posts to LUGNET all indexed by Google? (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jun-07, to lugnet.admin.general)

Brickwise - its not very helpful if it is not maintained.

When was the last time sombody actually updated this "resource"? Its not very helpful when it is years out of sync. Maybe it should just be taken down? Just my $0.02. -Dnesbit (17 years ago, 7-Jun-07, to lugnet.admin.general)

Can't help but notice the distinct lack of info on the rtlToronto sidebar. That seems a tad unusual, was there a technical glitch somewhere? ROSCO (17 years ago, 6-Jun-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.admin.curators)
