Okay, I made a quick mock-up. This isn't a fully developed concept... I just
want to give you some idea of what I meant in previous post.

So, some number of shops would have ads surrounding their own posting area.
How visitors found a particular vendor (an index?), who it appeared near
(catagories?), and 'fairness' of top of page placement (random?), etc. isn't
clear. But I like the idea of, say, browsing the minifig 'clothing
district,' for example.
