| I just received an eBay lot which contains the box for set 2_7: (URL) the box: 184 pcs No minifigs I can't find any date on the box, but it was produced by Samsonite Canada. The date can be tied down a little by the fact that it has a 1x3x4 opening (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.database)

| (...) I just noticed that set 2_7 has been updated with a 149 piece count from the box of set 105, which directly contradicts the 184 piece count from an actual set #2 box. (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.database)

| (...) Certainly an interesting question. Of course it's possible the box cover is wrong for 2_7. It's also possible there's a difference in how to count compund pieces (like wheels), though I'm not sure this set has many wheels. It's also possible (...) | (...) Hmm, let's see... Suz created the record and uploaded the photo on 26 Dec 1999; later, Joshua assigned some theme, year, piece-count info, and notes. Dan changed the piece count from 149 to 184. --Todd (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.database)
