I was lucky enough to find a box from S@H on my recliner when I came home today, and found this 1775 set inside it. I was tempted at first to order 4, so I could get another free McDonald's set, but I only ordered one. I hope I am not too late to (...) Anyone got an original box for a piece counton 8448 Super Street Sensation? (URL) have conflicting information... Someone who counted the pieces by hand and reports 1434 pieces. ...craters built of bricks... That was me that posted that on RTL, and now I feel a little silly. I should have recognized those as craters. Duh. Guess I let my imagination run away with itself! Take a look at: (URL) shows the set using a crater baseplate, while the instruction scans show a plain grey baseplate with craters built of bricks. Are there any other sets which have such a wide difference? Does anyone know when this change took (...) (25 years ago, 23-Sep-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.database)
