  Re: Cool new playtable

(...) In some states (including California) you may not have to pay the premium. Someone must have filed suit because the fine print in the last newspaper guest pass stated that there was no surcharge in CA and a couple of other states IIRC. Which (...)   Re: Cool new playtable

(...) IIRC they also take Discover, or used to (...) I bet shipping it to the eBay winner wasn't going to be cheap. That winner probably paid 2x what it would have cost to get it from Sams then... I personally don't need one, my kids have outgrown (...) (21 years ago, 26-Dec-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.market.auction)

(...) The Sam's Club price is $150 ~ $160. If you're not a member, you can download a guest pass (Google it) and pay a 10% premium. Sam's is cash or check only. BTW, its a big box. -Rob.   Re: Cool new playtable

(...) Thanks for finding this, looks like a legitimate product to me. Given that it includes 4 pieces of actual furniture, 250 is not a totally outrageous price(1) (although I'd be curious to see what it costs if you were to just buy it in a store (...)   Re: Cool new playtable

(...) I saw this same thing up on ebay a few weeks ago. It definitely looks like something that Lego made--it's got the Make and Create graphics on it, and I couldn't spot a set number on the pictures. Here's the ebay link (auction now closed, so it (...)   Re: Cool new playtable

I don't remember the item number, except that it started with 4. I'll make sure to get the whole number the next time I go to Sam's Club. (If I'm very sneaky and don't get caught, I might also be able to get a picture of it.) I also forgot, as (...) (21 years ago, 24-Dec-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Cool new playtable

(...) Blue baseplates. Excellent. Do you have a set number for this playtable, or any pictures? The only playtable at samsclub.com appears to be a clone, and square. (21 years ago, 24-Dec-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.admin.database)

  Set 250 and 253

The sets 250 and 253 seen on this page of the 1975 UK catalog is not in the database: (URL) 250 seems to be the same as the U.S. set 195. Martin (21 years ago, 17-Dec-03, to lugnet.admin.database)
