  Re: List of Curators?

(...) I dunno - I think people should have a way to contact the curator of a group. Probably some sort of automateted mailbox, where curator-admin.genera...lugnet.com will automagically send the email to the right person, or to you if there's none (...)   Re: List of Curators?

(...) Yes, the plan was/is to have the curator put their name in the yellow sidebar of the main page for their area. If they also want it to be an e-mail link, or a link to their member page, that's great but not required. I've told people this (...) (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: List of Curators?

(...) I think eventually, each newsgroup should say who's the curator for it is. Then again, perhaps it should part of the curators job to update the page, saying who's done it. :) Dan (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: List of Curators?

(...) This might be a fair bit of work for Suz to pull together but I agree it would be useful to know if one's "petition" was accepted or not. Not sure that benefit outweighs the cost. (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  List of Curators?

Greetings. Are there plans to have a page showing all of the members that have been given curator status and for which groups there are already curators assigned? Just curious to see which members of the community have stepped up to take on some of (...) (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Interested in lugnet.promo

(...) I don't really think we would need someone for each region, because people in other regions can always just email the curator with links to current promotional information. However, I don't think it would hurt to have a couple of people (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: Interested in lugnet.promo

(...) G'day, I personally think that with so many country's and different promo's, wouldn't we need a curator for almost each region? (rather than separate country's?). Otherwise I think it would/could be a big job! I'll chuck myself in for (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.admin.curators)

Re: request to be a curator

(...) I would tend to think that lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf should go to the same person who runs the baylug group....? (23 years ago, 30-Jul-01, to lugnet.admin.curators)

Re: Larry's Posts (was Re: Australian Brickbay Shops)

(...) Nods... no sense rushing in. Also the trailblazers can share experience with those that come after or who are wondering what it entails. Any thoughts on whether a co-curatorship is even doable? ++Lar (23 years ago, 29-Jul-01, to lugnet.admin.curators)

Re: Larry's Posts (was Re: Australian Brickbay Shops)

(...) Not that there's anything wrong with that.. ;-) (...) [checking] 'rejiggering' really -is- a word.. wow. :-) I'm not in a hurry to find curators, no. In fact the only ones I'm setting up right now are a few that were specifically asked for, (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jul-01, to lugnet.admin.curators)
