| | Shop at home?
| I apologize for this being a bit off topic, but I'm uncertain what group I should post this to. I have heard vague references to "Lego Shop at Home" - would someone be so kind as to tell me what this exactly is? Also... if this is a way to purchase (...) | | Re: Help with my IR tower
| I've also just recently noticed very inconsistent operation with the IR tower and win95. My latest theory is that I've recently added the USR/3com PalmPilot software to my home PC which I know periodically polls the serial port (I've got the IR (...) (26 years ago, 10-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| | Different types of parts bags within a set
| Does anyone know why TLG packages some pieces in 'standard' clear bags, while others are packaged in ones with many holes in them? My first thought was that they are trying to reduce the danger of suffocation if a child were to play with an empty (...) (24 years ago, 26-Apr-01, to lugnet.general)

| (...) I just bought the Tie-Fighter kit - and about five of the bags in it were the type with holes - most of them were actually the larger pieces... How long has this been going on? Is it possible it's just different packaging plants? (24 years ago, 27-Apr-01, to lugnet.general)
