Just a quick update: It appears that posting via email does not currently work. We are trying to get that sorted ASAP, but for the time being please use NNTP or the web at news.lugnet.com. Thanks, Jerry (18 years ago, 17-Jun-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Will NXT will work on Intel Macs ???

Hi, given that Intel Macs come with Rosetta as the legacy compatibility layer, even if LEGO doesn't ship NXT with universal binaries, the SW should run on the Intel Macs with reasonable performance. I'm quite curious about NXT actually since it took (...) (19 years ago, 8-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: Um, glitch or what?

Well since you ask about it, Kyle: After repairing the mail2news gateway yesterday, we realized that news-authentication failed to work correctly, and in the small timeslot until we shut down mail2news again, a bunch of spam went through. mail2news (...)   Re: This is it: We're moving!

Janey, you are right, we do have a small issue here and I am working on resolving this. Apparently it also relates to the spam surge we observed a couple of minutes ago.   Re: This is it: We're moving!

I need to apologize, we just realized that some of the spammers _do_ use the mail gateway and flooded us. I've locked up the mail2news gateway again and will look for the cause of this. Stay tuned for updates. Thanks, Jerry (18 years ago, 17-Jun-06, to lugnet.admin.general)
