Dear LUGNET Users, as you will have noticed, LUGNET experienced an outage on 17 and 18 Feb 2012. This was due to the main server having gone down under heavy load during a backup cycle. Hi all, yes I know, this group has been dormant for quite a while - however when digging through my older Mindstorms items last weekend, I also found two cybermaster units and became curious if they were still operational.   LUGNET outage on July 4th/5th, 2009
 
Dear all, as you will have noticed, we have encountered a major outage yesterday, July 5th, 2009, after some irregularities on the day before. Cause of this outage were some faulty server components that caused the main LUGNET server to repeatedly (...) (15 years ago, 6-Jul-09, to lugnet.announce) !

Hi all, recently we have again had to deal with a significant surge in spam and as a result have found LUGNET blacklisted on Spamcop. This is quite obviously due to the fact that spammers have increasingly used the mail2news gateway of LUGNET, (...) (15 years ago, 12-Jun-09, to lugnet.announce)
