  Re: SSClagorpion

(...) Ok, so first of all, the Spybots, although limited, have one VERY cool feature. It's their IR capability. They have three IR sensors, so they can detect the direction of an IR signal from a controller, and/or another Spybot. So, if you set a (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

The RCX adds 1 to the incoming byte and immediately send it back. The (...) From the picture (d1_p31) it looks as though all 4 RCXs can see the tower. I don't know anything about pcrcxcomm.jar or rcxf7port; and not much about lejos, however, if all 4 RCXs try to respond to the tower, you will have collisions. Try covering (...) (...) Hi John, I think the low nibble of the first byte contains the Link ID of the Spybot. It is zero if the Spybot is not linked to a controller. 1 if it is linked to controller 1, 2 if controller 2, etc. This should be easy to double check with (...) I'm a little surprised that the Spybot doesn't need to see the packet header byte - the byte containing the range/orientation bits preceding the 0x8n Ping byte. The header is deliberately generated with the stop bit cleared to force a framing error. (...)
