|
| (...) I can only second that. I bought several kilograms of old grey bricks in Windsor, Brighton and Cologne, as they are way cheaper than the mixed polybags. And I haven't been the only one - one guy bought three large shopping bags of grey in (...) (20 years ago, 30-Aug-04, to lugnet.lego)

| (...) Hey Joe, I'n not speaking for Mark, but I started using his LDCC-- (URL) I first heard about it and I love it! Right now I use it basically for my train layout, but at a few rtl dinners, the conversations went something like this-- "Have you (...) (20 years ago, 2-Sep-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Sounds like what would be *best* is a nice little heirarchy that contains several hundred items-- Because if I liked (say) Res-Q, but don't really care that much about the rest of town, I might not want to sign up for "Town", but I might want (...) | | Engraved and Designer Bricks
|
| I would just like to say that I have created a new website www.brickengraver.com for contact information and eventually ordering of custom engraved and "designer bricks". As of today the only link that works is my new email address, but I will be (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.market.shopping)

| (...) Heh, if only I lived in Europe! In the US, there's only the 1 LegoLand, and it's not terribly drive-to-able for everyone (especially those on the east coast, which I think is more densly populated). There's also a smattering of Pick-A-Brick (...) (20 years ago, 30-Aug-04, to lugnet.lego)

| (...) Thanks for the info Christian, I always thought it was part of the Car Steering Gear Axle assembly found in truck sets of 1967-74. This was where you could turn a 1x2 brick (with "LEGO" embossed on one side of the brick) on top of the cab of a (...) (20 years ago, 2-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

| (...) Sure, and then (as I believe you are pointing out), I have something I can't easily use with RCX. But if I have the MarkIII's sensor board ($20) with the input expander kit ($22), then the IRPD *is* a sensor -- it will plug right in. As will (...) (20 years ago, 1-Sep-04, to lugnet.robotics)
