  Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

(...) The elements form a brilliant system which I enjoy working with. (...) The careful engineering that goes into element design continues to adhere to the system specifications while expanding building possibilities. (...) I continue to be (...) (19 years ago, 23-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Last Tidbit from NMRA Show-- Unique track lead connection

(...) John- That works well enough if underneath your track you have bricks and open space to run wires. Doesn't help if under the track is baseplates and tables! Bypassing the LEGO track connector wires does seem like a good idea. They are (...) (19 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) I just realized I can make the whole Robie house out of 1x6 red plates and match the dimensions of the original, weird bricks FLW used. Zowie. Will I have enough red 1x6 plates from last year? Possibly. (19 years ago, 21-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

As I write this I have not viewed any other responses. (...) They are fun for me, fun for the kids, they are great for building anything you want, they are fun to collect and display. Through Lego toys I meet a lot of interseting people. (...) The (...) (19 years ago, 23-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Why not smaller & more affordable for all? was Re: LEGO Factory sets

(...) I agree with you Jeff, These parts are VERY small, paying 5 cents per part for parts that are only a fraction of the size of 2x4 bricks seems rather pricey. And then grouping the designs together.... As a town person, I am disappointed that (...) (19 years ago, 21-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

Each time we do a show I hear we need more 1-2 baseplate buildings. This contest was just (...) (19 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) My road trip went VERY well, I got a lot of good pictures and I have a very clear idea of what to use (a few of, 3 to 5 as I said) the bricks for. They *will* be related to the model. Now, the question becomes, can I carve out enough time to (...) (19 years ago, 21-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

SCLTC Sets World Record for Largest US Flag
