According to the book "The Ultimate Lego Book", the company was started in 1932, by Ole Kirk Christiansen. At the time, they made wooden toys only. Hmm, I like this one more. Also because one can build this easier than the other, because not everybody has that much slope bricks of one color. I'd like to add my brick wish-list and an idea. First the list: The lion-head bricks in the new castle sets are one of the best ideas lego has had in a long time.   New bulk bricks and slopes - in SAND RED???
 
What gives? Just checked the mailbox - did you think I was kidding? - and found the strangest collection of new bulk bricks ever. All I want is loads of 1x1's and 1x3's and blue slopes- and they give us this weird color? Am I the only one who sees (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jul-01, to lugnet.general)

I was up in my not-so-local Lego Store (Palisades Center Mall) this weekend and was happy to discover dark red 2x2 bricks in the PAB selection. I recently made a trip to the pick-a-brick at the Orlando LEGO Imagination Center and spent time stacking bricks to fit inside the large cup.
