Re: Why can't we have a Lando: Lego's Race policy

(...) What's the inherent skin tone of dogs? Yellow? I do know for a fact that we've got lots of different hair colors, so Lego would never argue that all animals have the same fur color, including human animals. Oh, yes, and brown-furred wookies. (...) How in the heck could it be inferred thus that it is *LEGO(tm)* that is doing the funding here? Do you know what the word "donor" means? The "donors" are users like you and me, and everyone else in this depressing string and beyond, that have (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

SW mini-fig 3-pack OFFICIAL set numbers

(...) Just got off the phone with S@H (had to order the 7181 and 7190...dang, I hate waiting for payday), and asked about these mini-figs. The are real, they just aren't being backordered from TLC yet. I've read about how they'll be cheaper from S@H (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

3340 SW "Darthpack" on S@H now!

My 3340 3-packs (Star Wars #1) are shipping today...the 3341,2, and 3 were all available today for backordering (finally). I assume this is true for the other 3-packs as well (ninjas, etc.).   3340 Has a young Obiwan head in it...

Besides the switched-color Palpatine hands...there's another oddity in this set my friend Pete noticed today... The Luke figure comes with a young Obiwan head (as found in 7161 Gungan Sub) instead of the traditional Luke head...compare the Luke (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Hi... My first instinct when I see new sets is to call LS@H to see if they're available. They're listed in their system, but obviously not coming out until 1/1/2001 (although I'm sure Wal-Mart will have 'em all earlier than that). The call did give (...) Hi, This is a great idea! Really gets juices going. Here's something I did a few months ago. It was going to be for April Fools, but I can't wait any longer.   TLC: Use annual contests for Classically-designed set releases!

Hi fellow droolers. There's a lot of good designs already in this Classic Space contest, and it really got me to thinking. I would spend sick money on the LL-932 (?), super-gigantor Galaxy Explorer's 'big brother' set submitted recently. I'm sure (...)
