Geordan, great mecha. Everything about this beauty just screams old skool; that's what I love about it. Very clean with the no studs look. I present my zenobiology moonbase module. Here the little minifig astronauts perform cutting edge biological experiments in reduced gravity. Arne, It is a Cargo Storage container used in the old larger floating boat hulls. (URL) it can actually hold water (as well as keep it out), it also makes a good minifig Hot Tub: (URL) that helps, Clark (...) (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.general)

Dan, What you have is Lego made from Cellulose Acetate (or CA). That is a kind of plastic that Lego used until 1963. After that, they switched to ABS still in use today. The Pat.
