Just to prove, YET AGAIN, that LUGNET's not dead...

And ignorant ppl who might admin other lego forum sites really should stop saying that... As well, before I get to my post, (and to continue with my rant), if you can't respect the fact that, without LUGNET, your little forum website probably (...)   Re: Monorail tower (Was: Just to prove, YET AGAIN, that LUGNET's not dead...)

(...) I agree with Jacob. It's amazing how those wing pieces seem to exactly match the radius of the curved monorail track sections. I like what I see so far for this build. Classic Space has always been my favorite. Please post pics of the (...) (10 years ago, 25-Apr-14, to lugnet.org.ca.obb)

Re: Discovered Unknown LEGO Set from Norway...

OPPPSS.... BROKEN LINK.... SO HERE'S THE POST INSTEAD.... ;-) I had seen a catalog entry in an old 1956 Norway catalog, but I wasn't sure if was (common in old LEGO catalogs) an error, or a real set, since one had never been seen before, and no (...) (10 years ago, 14-Apr-14, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Modular RC kits?

(...) It sounds great (apart from the odd frequency -- I wonder if they're using Radiotronix boards?), but in order to use it, I'd have to actually get one -- and HiTechnic dropped off the face of the earth several years ago, nest pas? Best, - Joe (20 years ago, 31-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  A Lego puzzle

The explanation is on the web page, but briefly: we wanted some different kinds of stairs, etc. It took us a while, but we got what we needed. The puzzle is: how did we do it? Don't post your solutions - just email them to me (cg@graysage.com), and (...) (11 years ago, 29-Mar-14, to lugnet.announce)

They are simply little blocks of ferrite surrounding the wire to add a miniscule (a few hundred nanohenries at most) amount of inductance to the wire so high frequency doesn't get (...)
