  Re: 4559 works with 7835?

(...) Not at all. Sorry if I left that impression. The conversion to lay 9V track where the current track lies is extremely easy. It's basically a case of removing the track and replacing it. It is dimensionally exactly the same except for the (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jan-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Redesigning my site...

Another approach that is not server dependent is to use a macro processor like Chainsaw. This uses a macro language in your HTML which you expand before uploading. Chainsaw is written by fellow CTPer Bill Burke, of Australia. I've played with it and (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jan-99, to lugnet.publish)

(...) well, sure, free is good. But is this a go or no, given the other group's existence? What is their charter? If they are MPLS only, that shuts a number of us out. I have been on the PNLTC group's case about allowing "remote" members, but no go (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mn.msp)

  1/2 stud offsets.

I got a note offline asking about how I do the inset doors on my box cars. They were clear on how to start an offset using 1x2 tiles with center stud, but unclear on how to tie the door back in at the top. here's what I said in response: There are a (...)   Re: gender changers?

The subject is under discussion in lugnet.build, which I would posit as a better group. The 1x1 with side stud is capable of changing direction in just slightly larger than 1x2 brick space.
