(...) STL only support triangles. Nurbs (and other geometry) must be converted by the CAD software to triangles. This part certainly looks very good! I'm a bit unsure about it's orientation, though. Perhaps it could benefit from having the same orientation and origin as "32039 Technic Connector with Axlehole" and "3651 Technic Connector"? The part does have (...)   stl2dat : a new conversion utility tool
 
I have developped stl2dat, an utilitary tool to convert .stl files issued from CAD software like Solidworks, Autocad, and many others to .dat files for ldraw compatible programs. It is still under developpment, but I think it could interest some (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
