this moc made its formal debut at the parlugment meeting last night and made it home safely to be photographed. (URL) a minor french manor in what could be somewhere in france perhaps. with small courtyard entrance and ever-present fountain. (...) (...) quite sturdy, it's travelled quite well to two different locations and while others things (especially trees and baseplates) have fallen apart, the staircase remains intact. it's an improvement on a previous model (see cliffhouse in brickshelf (...) a new moc is almost finished so i thought i'd post some of the foliage and structures while i'm waiting for pieces needed to complete details. a formal garden with reflecting pool, raised flowerbeds and stone pathways. (...) too late! it's long gone, but i'm using a partially curved staircase in my present moc and have improved on it to make it stronger. the staircase in the cliff house was extremely fragile and more often than not fell over when i removed the 3rd (...)   first posting, italian hillside villa
 
my first posting, not a big deal in the great scheme of things, but for me a giant step deeper into this hobby. enough said, the moc: an italian villa set into the valley's hillside with a large deck to enjoy the panoramic view. a vespa waits to (...) It's been 4 years since I worked on the Super Chief Cars for TLG. I've been extremely pleased to see the parts fit into a great many MOC across multiple themes.
