  Ballast Studies & Guides for LEGO 9V Train Track
 
After months of planning this, I finally had some time to get my ballast studies completed for LEGO 9V straight, curve, and switch track. (...) Dave, The ballasted track looks great. I must admit, having seen 6 or 8 LEGO train displays I never appreciated the effort required to ballast curved track. Now I know better. (...) John: Thanks a great idea! I never though of using the jumper bricks to further randomize the pattern. I'll have to give that a try on the next corner or switch I ballast and see how it works.   patio v-pod
 
the furniture came first, the v-pod encouraged by fellow lug member, jude beaudin. i argued that vignettes should have minifigs (yuck!) and he argued not. so my first intro to the v-pod. i have recently come into ownership of part 4535, (URL) cupboard 2x3x4>. it was available in the mid 80's in basic building sets. i am more familiar with the similar, smaller part, cupboard 2x3x2 which takes 2 drawers or one door. this piece in (...)   beach layout at parlugment's railfair
 
as you may have seen in previous posts, parlugment, ottawa's lug, participated in railfair on october 15-16. as part of the group, my contribution to the layout was mostly restricted to a beach area opposite the port. it's all right, i didn't mind (...)
