Re: What TLG set "revolutionized" your building?

(...) This isn't the kind of answer for which you were seeking, but for me it was the advent of Brickbay (now Bricklink). That has done more to allow me to build whatever I wish then any particular LEGO set. I would also say that Pick-a-Brick has (...) (17 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Getting out of the hobby

According to my out of date peeron.com inventory, I have over 100 sets (40,000 parts), probably almost half of which are MIB. My sets tend toward the more detailed, larger technic sets. This doesn't include many parts bags (I bought 10 or more of (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Can somebody help me find these sets?

(...) Okay people, my TRU is now dry on this set, if they get more I am lucky. The good news they had one 1782, the bad news is that they only had one.
