Announcing Bill & Doug's Monorail Auction
Or: Bill and Doug's 11th Excellent Adve^H^H^Huction.
THings have been pretty busy here, but at last I get this started.
Included here are 6990, 6991, and two 6399s, as well as other track.
I have attempted to detail the condition of each set carefully,
use the 'describe' command to check on an item's condition.
Erik Wilson and his brother Rolf have most graciously made their
auction-bot program available, and I have set it up for this auction.
The address of the auction-bot is: auction@mrfws1.innovation.com.
Mail for the auction must be sent directly to the auction-bot,
with the words "monorail auction" in the SUBJECT line.
The most important commands to get started are:
name <name you want to be known by in this auction>
describe *
help
The short form of help is appended below.
For those that have trouble with e-mail syntax, or are just more
comfortable with the web, I introduce:
A WEB INTERFACE TO THE AUCTIONBOT!!
Point your browser to:
http://mrfws1.innovation.com/~auction/index.html
There you can see the results of my previous several auctions,
as well as the current status of the "monorail" auction.
I'm sorry but the web-based bidding tool is still broken. I hope to
have it fixed someday soon. Probably after I move to a different
server.
Attached is the complete description of the lots.
Happy Bidding!
