  Re: Help with newsreader IE5.5

Also under Tools/Options/Read, you can set the number of headers to 1000. Unfortunately, the 'Get next headers' menu command or toolbar button doesn't allow getting anything past the first 1000 messages. If anyone knows a way around this, I'd sure (...)   Since you guys are all computer techs...

I did searches using the search button, I browsed around the webpage for half an hour trying to figure this out, but there is no obvious link anywhere to help me out with this.   Lugnet news server help (sorry)

I am unable to connect to the Lugnet news server. I am using Outlook Express.   Re: Suggestions for posting articles using web interface

This may be an old topic... but... I am set up to post. I use Outlook Express to do this. However, I would like to use the web interface to post when I am not at home. OK, I just posted a message (reply, actually) in .loc.au and it turned up in .org.au - for loc.au it was message no. 2811 and org.au it was 759, and I swear I haven't told anything to post to both groups, just loc.au - explain this one please! ;-) I (...)   Followup-To, ex post facto

I have implemented a web interface feature which allows an news admin* to apply a slight change to a news article: If for some reason the 'Followup-To' header on a post was set incorrectly, or was left empty when it should have been set, this can (...) (...) Hey Lar, You -do- know what's involved in moderating, right? You get mailed an NNTP article via SMTP, which you then import into an editor, munge the headers, add an 'Approved-By' header, and then repost via NNTP. There are tools to help with (...)   Formal Letter to TLC?

I've noticed a lot of frustration recently by Lugnuts about TLC's lack of an explanation for 2001 set actions, neglect to do anything about copyrighted stolen images, and lack of communication in general to the community.
