Re: Greater Midwest LEGO Train Club (GMLTC)

Hi All, A couple shows ago we had a 60+ car train with two front puller engines and a pusher engine at the tail. We had to be a bit careful not to "pop a knuckle" (that makes me smile to say that) but with that kind of load the engines had a real (...)   Dragonstern Teaser

I've managed to put all of our castle MOCs that were done for MM together in one layout. Here's a teaser pic from it. (URL) to get all the pics done this weekend. Regards, ACPin & Sons (22 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.castle)

Two train layouts (wasRe: Greater Midwest LEGO Train Club (GMLTC)

In response to Larry's desire with Ben's second to see **2** LEGO train layouts at the same show, PNLTC did a small (last minute) show -- with a hasty display -- on March 7th at which there was indeed two separate groups each with its own display. We mostly hang around the Midwest-- the layout has been to North Dakota, La Crosse (last weekend), St. Paul (annual GATS), Mpls Metrodome (The Great Create, a charity event co-sponsored by, among others, TLG), and a few other places of which I am (...) (26 years ago, 21-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains)

Limited Build: Micro Lady Luck and Shield Ship

Hi everyone! While chatting with Ashley Glennon at BricksWest 2003, I found myself inspired to build in microscale and with a limited selection of parts. After acquiring all four Star Wars minis, I found myself playing mix and match with these cool (...) (22 years ago, 16-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

Very Cool, Anthony! I can see that I missed a lot while I was offline (been fighting with my service provider). Your town is great. The wide variety of animals is what really caught my eye. I like the ducks, chickens, and cows, of course. I (...) (22 years ago, 16-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

A minor correction... (...) It was John Neal who thought of it first. I just jumped on the bandwagon. :-) I bet that kid is pretty enthused now. Way to go.   Re: NEEDED: 2x4 BRICKS!

(...) How do the GMLTC tables work? Is it just a 20 high brick wall around the edge or could you use some older bricks that are somewhat used, maybe for s spot where the bricks aren't seen. (26 years ago, 20-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  NEEDED: 2x4 BRICKS!

Building a table for the GMLTC is insane. The layout sits atop a 20 brick high wall, which means I literally need 1000's of bricks to build just one 30"x45" table. So I thought what the heck, maybe there is someone out there who has a hundred or so (...) (26 years ago, 20-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
