Re: Unviewable page, useless warning (Was: UCS TIE Crawler)

Jeremy, Sorry to hear about your problems accessing our site. Since Homestead is the website company that I use to create the webpages, I'm not really sure as to what code the pages finally translate to. Hence, even if I wanted to post what type of (...)   Re: Brickfest PDX train display - call for contributers

(...) I'll just ask that you keep a loop or two "8-wide compatible", for those of us bringing 8-wide trains & rolling stock. Otherwise, I'll just plan on running my 'Challenger' and wiping out anything too close to the track... ;-) JohnG, GMLTC (21 years ago, 12-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains)

  an 'improved' coupler design

Ever since the GMLTC became one of the first clubs to build our trains 8-wide, we've run into problems trying to run long trains. Simply, the LEGO magnets aren't strong enough! Try to pull several 8-wide cars around a 180degree corner, and we'd (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Chat with Kate & Jake / translation to English

(...) OK, I had to think about this for a while - but it does raise a question: How do they determine how many PaB cups of bricks are in a carton? Do they just guestimate, or do they fill a cup and work off of that? Because, AFOLs (and kids!) who (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jan-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Wow, that's harsh! Fellow GMLTC member John-3 and I watched the entire "Firefly" series over the weekend. That was a *great* show, I hope that someday it finds its way back onto the airwaves...
