Ha, all this talk about incompetent John;-) I have all of the necessary software (artwork is in Adobe Illustrator, I have Adobe Photoshop). I use AI primarily and photoshop minimally (usually just scan aquiring for now), but hope to utilize it more (...) (25 years ago, 31-May-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.general)

Unless PageMill has dramatically improved (I last used it about two years ago), it is a pretty weak product in my opinion. It was okay for building a page but lousy when it came to site management. Am I missing something here? I thought macs could write .gif, .tiff, etc. I can't imagine there would be a need for someone to clean up the images you posted.... The page looks great! I like the Milwaukee RR "like" LOGO. We (PNLTC) have been looking for help in the logo department forever. None of us are graphic artists. Nice pictures. As for the logo, you may want to save those images as .gif files. The .gif format is much better for this type of graphic. .jpg files are great for photographs and such, .gif is good for graphics that have wide expanses of one color (...) Hey Dave! Thanks for the feedback! I hadn't measured it, but according to my Stanley Leverlock it's almost two feet long. I purposely made the whole picture black and white (not just the tail) because I wanted the image to have the atmosphere of (...) (19 years ago, 4-Oct-05, to lugnet.space)

If they had allowed Macs to be cloned, and had ported MacOS to the intel platform around the time of OS/2 1.1 and Windows 2.0, this would be a far different (better?) (...)
