Hey Dave!
Thanks for the feedback! I hadn't measured it, but according to my Stanley
Leverlock it's almost two feet long.
I purposely made the whole picture black and white (not just the tail)
because I wanted the image to have the atmosphere of being snapped by some
rinky-dink little spy probe. I played around with a lot of combinations
before I got one that I thought obscured enough and yet teased enough. I
followed the CS color scheme very strictly except for a little dark gray and
you'll see the rest of its true colors soon! However, even after I posted
this I've kept tinkering with it, trying to really sculpt it down.
Hopefully I'll have a page up by the end of the month, but I need to buy a
set to finish it.
I hope everyone will find it worth the wait because I'm really proud of the
landing gear, which are, as a subject of conversation and criticism around
here, is quite a putrified and pulverized equestrian corpse (although I now
understand why because they're often the hardest part of the MOC)!
