  Re: Holy time-zone differences, Batman!

Eavestroughs??? Isn't that the same as 'rain gutters'? And does TLG make a decient piece for houses that will do the same thing? (26 years ago, 22-Jan-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Wheels, Treads, Feet, etc...

Wheels... Definatly wheels. Larger ones in the rear and smaller ones in the front. I have done some work with a mini-stock race crew and use some of the knowledge gained there in my designs. Hopefully soon I'll get the pics of my dragster on the (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  TLG 'DOES' read this...

Apparently TLG does read this, I recieved the original catalog that I ordered yesterday... It's got all the Mindstorms and Robolab stuff plus lots of training kits for both. It's a great catalog if you can get your hands on it, I've already totaled (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: $40 good deal for 8456?

$40 is worth it, my wife paid $80 at x-mass for mine. And yes... The dragster is most cool motorized w/power steering and all. Scoots around my living room real well too. Definatly get 2 if they are only $40. I would, the fiber optic and green hinge (...) (26 years ago, 12-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Missing/malformed pieces?

I have a few mutilated technic beams that won't "lock" onto anything at all... In fact they are only good for the custom beam w/a hacksaw. Unfortunatly they were 16 stud beams in black, my favorite ones. The bigger the chasis the stronger the car. (26 years ago, 12-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  TRU returning open sets

Can TRU return opened sets to TLG? I tried to haggle for an opened (and obviously used) Lego remote control car at my local TRU. The manager said he could get more than the $20 I offered for the open set knowing that some pieces might be missing. On (...) (26 years ago, 25-Feb-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Curiosity...
