hi from France, I already have a handy-board running with a 11A1 chip and I plan to adapt the circuit for a 11F1 chip, with the same memory map. this is basically right, read the "appendixb" document listed on the tech docs page for this kind of info....... re: hb board size, it's sized so it will fit into a commercial plastic enclosure that holds an 8 cell AA battery pack. -fred (URL) your (...) Hi, I'm using a L293E to drive my motors. Each driver has a "sense" output and I don't understand the use of it. How can I use those outputs with the Handy-Board ? Thanks for any help, ......... (1) the memory should last about a month if the board is turned off, as several have noted. (2) please be aware that the serial interface will *DRAIN POWER FROM THE HB* if the interface itself is not plugged into power. thus do not expect anywhere (...) Hi I think that Fred's idea for the expansion board is OK, but I'd also like to see a "bare-bones" expansion board for those hardware hackers amongst the HB community. Hi Keith. Send it to me and I'll post it for all. Please send as a GIF not JPG as this is better for line art & text (i.e., a schematic).
