I was walking to work this morning and saw the linked Flash minifig picture taped to someone's second story window on 18th near Hartford in San Francisco. There are definately new castles there Castell Coch (about 5 minutes from my house) is up there now in all its glory (its actually a folly and not a *real* castle) I'd still like to see his Caerphilly Castle model (about 2 minutes from my house and (...) wow. if only. I have always seen the modular sets to be a far better idea than the stand alone playsets. If TLC released these sets I'd have no money left. Not only that, Its getting v. difficult to get Lego in the UK now. Big stores only stock a few lines. Why do the Americans get privaliged sets. Is there still any Beatties shops in existance?? I worked for them in the past (before I got a real job) and they were in deep shtuk for years. I'm quite new to the Lugnet community so I'm not up on structure and procedure, (I didn't know Lego were active participents) but this is obviously a topic that has got a lot of people going. would a vote be possible in a case like this where (...) (...) That one is hard for me to find because it's listed as a minifig accessory, while many of the others seem to be listed as minifig tools. Beats me why. Seems more like a tool to me. Is it just me or are TLC getting more 'playset' focused. I would like to see a return to the castle lego 'models'. More stuff like the Guarded Inn and the modular sets which you could expand into much larger castles... oh and no falling axes which (...) (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)
